Finals and graduation are NEXT WEEK. Hot damn. I only have a few days for really good school photo ops.

Yes, I'm getting into photography. Or, well, more into it. I'm wondering if I should submit pictures I took in like April. I want to get a scanner, too, so I can work on not only digital photography but film photography as well. My dad has an old Canon manual film camera that I want to take out and learn to use. Of course, film costing money, I would haveto be rather stingy with what shots I take, which I REALLY don't like. I like that you can delete as much as you like on digital cameras, but I don't have the money to go out and get a better camera now.

Yes, I realize I haven't gotten caught up in devART for a while like I said I would. For this, I apologize.

Well, I really have the temptation to spend up all the money I'm saving for emergency purposes for college just so I can get new stuff now. Times like these, I wish I were old enough to obtain a job.

When I look over my gallery or whatever I've drawn for the past year, I don't think my style has changed one bit. Haha!

I wish I could say something like, "my lineart is so much cleaner, look at that crap from five months ago!" or "look at the corrections I've made to my anatomy". But a few things:

1) I don't draw as much as I used to (oh, if I had devART three years ago it would have been so much different)
2) Due to #1, I have nearly nothing to compare to.
3) I draw in a variety of styles, making it hard to compare things.

I have the urge to draw something drum corps-y and marching band-y for some reason.

In other news, I checked marchingarts.com. AHH. JULY 15TH, 2006. RENEGADES, BLUE DEVILS B + C, VANGUARD CADETS. OKAY, JUST DCI IN GENERAL. IN SUNNYVALE. ON MY BIRTHDAY. Granted, it's not divison I and I would love to see Santa Clara Vanguard, but I have friends in Vanguard Cadets, so watching them would be neat-o.
